January 5, 2012. Physical pain. CWE 95

Seagulls beat their wings against their white bellies and rise up in a cloud of flapping. They screech and the ocean tosses chairs on the sand. Small heartbeats clench their fists everywhere. Each wing flaps against a cage of bones. A circus of pulses fills the sky. The birds, built small and furious, have hearts that turn in constant somersaults.
